An artist platform by Water Music

Water Music Collective

From exceptional music to exceptional audiences.

Water Music Collective is an independent artist platform dedicated to distinctive voices in jazz, alternative, ambient, folk, world, cinematic and genre-crossing contemporary music. We do not just distribute music — we invest in artists. For the people we believe in we put in time, money and resources: releases, production, music videos, sync licensing, live shows and international promotion. And because we own the platforms we promote through — the Water Music festival, Jazz FM radio and the Music For Thought magazine — your work reaches real, engaged audiences.

Who we are looking for

We welcome original artists across a spectrum of thoughtful, performance-driven music.

  • Jazz
  • Alternative
  • Ambient
  • World music

  • Acoustic-electronic

Artists should be able to perform their music live — acoustically, electronically or in hybrid formats.

What we offer

More than distribution. We bring label services, management, live booking, production and our own media — radio and a magazine — into one partnership.

Boutique label partnership

We release and shape your music — singles, EPs, albums, live recordings and collaborative projects — with production guidance, artistic direction, mixing and mastering supervision, distribution, visual branding and content strategy.

Exclusive artist management

For selected artists: full career strategy, international networking, festival applications, media and day-to-day representation — the long-term work of building a sustainable career.

Live shows & European touring

Concerts at our own Water Music festival and on stages across Europe. When budget allows, we cover travel and accommodation for festival performances — playing live is something we make happen, not something we leave to you.

Production, music videos & sync

Hands-on production support, professionally filmed music videos, and sync licensing — placing your music in film, TV, advertising and games for new income and exposure.

Jazz FM radio & media

Airplay and curated support on Jazz FM, our own jazz radio platform, plus alternative radio, editorial playlists, music blogs and cultural media. Each campaign is tailored to the artist and release.

Music For Thought magazine

Editorial coverage in Music For Thought — our own online music magazine. Features, interviews, reviews and premieres that put your release in front of a dedicated, music-loving readership.

Our partnership model

We believe in long-term collaboration, so we work with selected artists under an exclusive partnership of at least five years — long enough to build something real together. The Collective invests its own time, money, production, promotion and network; the artist creates.

50% Artist · 50% CollectiveA typical structure

Each partnership is individually shaped around the project's needs and growth potential. The typical split reflects a shared investment — we only commit to artists we genuinely believe in.

What makes us different

Most labels only distribute music. We invest in artists and build careers — on platforms we own: the Water Music festival, Jazz FM radio and the Music For Thought magazine.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of artists does Water Music Collective work with?
Independent jazz, alternative, ambient, world, contemporary folk, cinematic, neo-classical and genre-crossing artists — soloists, duos, trios and small ensembles who perform their music live and want to build a sustainable international career.
Do you actually invest in artists?
Yes — this is a real investment, not a service you pay for. The Collective puts in money, time and resources: production, music videos, sync licensing, live shows and, budget permitting, travel and accommodation for festival performances. The 50/50 partnership reflects that shared investment.
How do you promote a release?
Through platforms we own and curate — the Water Music festival and live showcases, airplay on Jazz FM radio, and editorial coverage in our Music For Thought online magazine — alongside partner playlists, music blogs and cultural media. Promotion is built into the partnership.
How do I submit my music?
Use the application form on this page, or email info@watermusic.lt with your artist name, country, genre, a short biography, Spotify and YouTube links, a live performance video and your three best tracks.
What does the partnership look like?
For selected artists we offer an exclusive partnership of at least five years — a typical 50% artist / 50% collective structure, individually shaped around each project. The Collective invests management, production, promotion, live booking and festival access.
Is Water Music Collective part of Water Music Festival?
Yes. The Collective is the year-round artist platform of Water Music — the same team behind the festival, extending it into a boutique label, management, radio, magazine and live-showcase network across Europe.
