That belief drives the four musicians gathered under the enigmatic name "Akys" ("Eyes"). Inspired by the ability of band founder Lina Kavalčiukienė to fuse words and feelings into a single whole, the group writes songs that are at once simple and deep, drawing their pull from the human heart, the turns of fate and lived emotion. Anchored in classic pop-rock, the band weaves in elements of progressive rock, jazz and shoegaze.
