South for Winter DUO (NZ / USA) joins Water Music Festival 2026 in Utena on August 11. South for Winter DUO brings together New Zealander Nick Stone and US (Colorado) singer Dani Cichon. Formed in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2017 and now based in Nashville, the duo blends folk-rock, Americana and indie-roots — dreamy acoustic duets, foot-stomping folk and bluesy ballads. They won the Grand Prize (Album of the Year) at the 2024–2025 Indie Acoustic Project Awards, and their music has featured on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock and Apple TV. Their sophomore album "Of Sea and Sky" is out on major platforms.
